Carolyn Zhao is a speculative fiction writer and medical student at the Pritzker School of Medicine. Her fiction has been published in Clarkesworld. She is the beloved owner of an equally beloved dog.

Haley H. Pak is a Los Angeles-born speculative and science fiction author who dreams of space operas by moonlight and fights for her life to become a doctor by daylight. When she’s not doing either, she makes nerdy art for her small business. Her fiction has been published in Clarkesworld.

Isabel J. Kim

Isabel J. Kim is a Korean-American speculative fiction writer based in New York City. She is a Shirley Jackson Award winner, an Astounding Award finalist, and her short fiction has been published in Clarkesworld, Lightspeed, and Strange Horizons, among other venues. When she’s not writing, she’s either practicing law or co-hosting her internet culture podcast Wow if True.

Tia Tashiro

Tia Tashiro is a multiracial speculative fiction writer hailing from the Pacific Northwest. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Clarkesworld, Uncanny, and Apex. By day, she works in a neurobiology lab; by night, she writes; and in between, she dabbles in stained glass and juggling, though never at the same time.

Sara S. Messenger

Sara S. Messenger is an East and West Asian writer craving clown futures. She has been published in Nightmare, Fantasy, Apex, Strange Horizons, and The Year’s Best Fantasy, among others. She’s also staffed at PodCastle, khōréō, and The Skull & Laurel. When not juggling her novel(s), she’s weathering life after college graduation.

Tina S. Zhu

Tina S. Zhu is a 2024 Lambda Fellow who writes stories about fairytales and pop culture. Her work has appeared in The Cincinnati Review, Fireside, Lightspeed, and Strange Horizons, among lots of other places, and she is on the staff of khōréō and Split Lip Magazine. She is currently working on too many short stories and a novel.
